Camp Eternal Rules and Policies
PLEASE REVIEW THESE POLICIES WITH EACH MEMBER OF YOUR GROUP!
Speed limit on camp is 10 miles per hour.
Parking is located on the right side of the road after you pass the dam.
No food or drink is allowed in any of the sleeping of the sleeping quarters, excepting water.
Supplies: Campers must supply their own toiletries, towels (beach and bath), sleeping bags and pillows unless other arrangements have been made with Camp Eternal.
Water Activities: No water activities after nightfall. Life jackets must be used at all times. Certified lifeguards are on staff and are required for the safety of all guests. Female campers will wear a one-piece swim suits with shorts or a two-piece swimsuit with a shirt and shorts for all water activities.
Blob: Life jackets and ear plugs (to protect ear drums) are required. Only one person at a time may be on the dive tower ladder or platform. No double-blobbing, please. Staff must be present for water activities.
Dock: No one may be pushed off of the dock or dive tower. Staff must be present for water activities.
Fishing may only be enjoyed when the water is closed to swimmers. We stock bass, catfish, and perch, and can provide fishing poles, when requested.
Curfew: Unless otherwise arranged, campers should remain indoors or on the basketball court after dark. All outdoor nighttime activities must be coordinated and supervised by group leaders. Water activities are not permitted after dark.
Towels: Bath towels are to be hung on hooks in your rooms. Wet bathing suits and beach towels may be hung outside on a line near the Barn House to dry.
The Dining Hall will be closed one hour before each meal, allowing staff to clean, cook, and set up for the three main meals during the day. After meals, campers should take dishes to the washing area, scrape, and stack them neatly. No glasses, dishes, silverware, etc. are to be removed from the dining hall.
Equipment: No equipment may be used without the express permission of Camp Eternal. Archery tag, paintball, and archery require supervision. Please notify staff of missing or broken equipment so that it can be replaced.
First aid and illness: We have lifeguards certified in first aid and CPR who are able to assist with minor injuries.
Bonfires are available upon request. We have three areas where bonfires can be set up. No fires may be lit without permission and assistance from the camp staff.
Smoking: There is a designated smoking area right outside the Barn House on the basketball court. There is a clay chimney filled with sand where cigarette butts must be placed. No exceptions!
Firearms and fireworks are prohibited unless prior arrangements have been made with director. When not in use, all firearms must be locked in vehicles
Camp Property is not to be harmed or defaced. Destruction of property will not be tolerated.
Profanity, immoral conduct of any kind, and immodest dress are forbidden.
Pets are not permitted at Camp Eternal, for the safety of guests. Three family dogs live at Camp Eternal and will not bite!
